I wrote this song on one of many walks along the St Lawrence River, always with the feeling of searching for something that was there to be found.
The song's chorus is in English and French, but was sung for the first time on unceded Algonquin land. "Kichi sibi daji pimidjiwan kichigaming" (The great river runs to the sea - Algonquin)
With acknowledgement of the many indigenous peoples who first lived and still live by this great river, this song is a celebration of water, its mystery and power in our lives
